This issue happens if user update DarkStory's client while it is running in background, or if the current file is being used by another process.

You be able to fix it following the next steps:

• Stop DarkStory.exe process from background
  1. Run Task Manager
  2. Click to Details tab
  3. Find the DarkStory.exe process and stop it clicking End Task button
• In some cases you will need reboot your PC in order to fix it
