DarkStory is Offline or Can't Register

This issue commonly occurs due to networking problems. However, in some cases, it can happen because the user's IP address has been blocked by DarkStory's server due to previous security issues.

To fix this issue, you can follow these steps:

  • Add DarkStory to your Windows Firewall exceptions.
  • Clean your DNS Cache:

If you are not comfortable using the Command Prompt, restarting your computer may produce the same effects.

  1. Press Windows Key and type CMD
  2. Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  3. In the open Command Prompt, type ipconfig /flushdns
  4. Press Enter and close the Command Prompt
  5. Try running DarkStory again
  • Set to default your modem/router settings

In some cases, users who have opened ports may not be able to connect to the server. You can try temporarily closing all the ports that you opened to fix this issue.

  • Restart your modem/router.
